@Kathryn Indeed. "Commissioning" sounds like "pay" to me and right now I don't have the funds for such a venture. I am part way through developing the main site now and recent events have caused me to step that up. Obviously such a project is nothing without content but I would sooner not go running after "big names". I feel this is not about "stars" but about people who shine for God without the plaudits. I am guessing there will already be plenty of content creators who would be favourable to creating such content. The main question now is finding them and encouraging them.

What about the next step -- commissioning content creators to create CC-licensed work?

@Liftyourvoice: yes it is a little saddening but we always seem to make such a fuss about "the church" being the people and not the building or organisation. If that's the case then we, the church, are the only ones who can do anything about the status quo. Hence M108. Feel free to hop over there and join in with the rest of the church.

cheers

I find it saddening that it's been almost 5 years since your original post on this topic. We're still shouting the same message!

Just once in our time it would be amazing if the church led the world forward into freedom, rather than following 15 years too late.
