Charityware |

|
Pretty much everything* of mine within this site is covered by a Charityware licence. This is a concept whereby I retain copyright of the images, text, software etc. but make no charge for their use or distribution. If you like what you see and get and want to make some gesture of thanks you can make a donation to a charity of your choice on my behalf.
Please note that I am not suggesting you make a donation simply for
visiting this site, the licence only applies if you want use or
distribute anything on this site in or through another publication,
website or on your PC.
For those who like scriptural backing I suggest "Freely you have
received, freely give".
* The exceptions to this being Ryan's In/Out Board - my electronic in-out board,
which is released under the
GNU GPL and the blog, which is covered by a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 License.

Which charity? |

|
I make no requirements of which charity you support -
I can't really can I? It's your donation - you decide who to give it
to. If you are stuck for one may I suggest some of my personal
favourites, none of these charities are connected with or endorse this
site.
- FEBA Radio - a Christian
radio station that broadcasts from the Seychelles to many countries
in 55 languages. Many of the countries it broadcasts to do not allow
preaching of any Christian message and/or have few churches. Radio
is therefore one of the few ways that Christians can get support.
- The Bible Society -
distribute bibles to Christians in places where they are extremely
hard to get hold of. Some of the places

- YFC - Youth For Christ have
been involved for many years with helping young people find out more
about Jesus. Be this with schools work or support and co-ordination
with local church youthwork. My wife and I co-lead youthwork at our
church and our local YFC branch (Epping
Forest) has been a great source of help to many in my area and
yet always struggles for funds to even pay their dedicated workers.
- Contact a Family -
every day over 75 children are born or diagnosed with a serious
disability or rare syndrome and the vast majority of them are cared
for at home. Contact a Family is the only UK charity
providing support and advice to parents whatever the medical
condition of their child. They are also my employers but that
doesn't mean I am biased.
